Langshot, Horley, Surrey

Detached house; client required complete interior remodel, to her specification, prior to moving in.
Perform complete property refurbishment, to a very high standard that included: painted oak kitchen with granite work tops, Range cooker and hood, over cabinet and under cabinet lighting, new porcelain tiled floor, wood flooring to the rest of the ground floor and a structural element to open the dining area into the living room to give a bigger open plan space.

A complete audio-visual system was built into a false wall created in the living room where formerly the chimney breast was sited, including wall-to-wall cupboards beneath. The flat panel TV was recessed into the wall with the centre channel speaker on a glass shelf beneath. All the control equipment lives in opaque glass fronted cupboards and the ‘designer’ front speakers stand like pieces of art either side of the AV wall.  All other speakers, of which there are six, are concealed from sight. The client brief was that the speakers should be heard but not seen!

A downstairs cloakroom was created in the under-stair ‘cupboard’.

A conservatory was built into the garden, leading to a decked patio and barbecue area, with exterior, mood lighting.

Upstairs, the floors in both the master en-suite shower room and the family bathroom were strengthened and the plumbing upgraded to allow the fitting of powerful high flow showers and large bath tub, plus full Italian tiling in both, with beautiful shower enclosures, designer taps/controls and custom back-lit mirrors.

The work exceeded our client’s expectations and we have designed and are commissioned to build a large loft extension in the near future.
